God's Middle Finger
Richard Grant got bored and decided it would be interesting to go into dangerous places and write about them. He was absolutely right it is way more interesting than most of our mundane lives. In this book he decided to explore the Sierra Madre region in Mexico. This territory has always been a predominately lawless region frequented by the poor and criminals and wanted fugitives. Richard travels the region and meets an assortment of characters, some of whom try to kill him. I also recommend the chapter about the sex lives of narcotrafficantes. Who'd have thunk it?
