A Little Moment

It was a three hour drive to get here in the beautiful Texas hill country. I had little sleep and a lousy sandwich from a gas station that I returned unceremoniously later on. After a night's rest it was breakfast time at a local Mexican cafe. I sipped my coffee while watching Burnet go by. The local cops came in and tabled up together, locals rushing to run errands while on lunch, and I sipped my coffee without a care in the world for that moment. I live for little moments like this.
