Once upon a time Detroit, Michigan, was synonymous with the great American auto industry. Nowadays it is synonymous with poverty, crime, debt, welfare dependent, and pretty much nothing positive. There is a media campaign trying to boost its image to everyone living outside of Michigan however you can polish a turd but it's still a turd. Here we have a film maker who went into the ghettos of Detroit to show the world what I imagine city leaders don't want us to see.
